Vision 2030 is an economic plan developed by Saudi Arabia to help diversify its economy into the future. Unveiled in April 2016, Vision 2030 is projected to cost over 700 billion USD and is rooted in large-scale infrastructure. Its flagship "gigaprojects" include: Neom, a high-tech city the size of Belgium. The Line, a "horizontal city" built around a 105-mile high-speed railway which Saudi Arabia hopes will house 9 million people. The Oxagon, a floating industrial complex which will produce green hydrogen and serve as a fully automated port for shipping routes throughout the Red Sea.
